Overview
Disable Emails extension by MageryThemes allows to disable specific email notifications in Magento store.
In some cases it is needed to disable particular transactional email. You can do this easily with our module.
This extension can be used to disable all native Magento email notifications and even notifications of custom modules.
But be careful, and don't disable Remind Password notification :)
This extension is compatible with the latest security patches.
The module can be incompatible with the other email-related extensions (SMTP etc.)

Just installed this and even though it hasn't been updated for over three years, it still allowed me to smoothly disable the order confirmation e-mails like I wanted. Installed on Magento 1.9.2.4.

This extension give you complete control over which email notifications are being sent out through Magento.
Specifically I needed this to prevent the automatic Newsletter Success emails from being sent as this is being handled outside of Magento in a separate newsletter management program, this extension worked flawlessly for this.
